I’m from Japan, where I grew up and began my racing career. I’ve always had a dream of sharing my designs with the world. When I was a child, I frequently received awards from my city for my art. It was my passion to win the gold award, though sometimes I would receive silver. I was disappointed when I received silver, but it motivated me to do better. I thought to myself, “Next year, I’ll get the gold!” This mindset encouraged me to research more about art and improve my skills.
I graduated from the Art University in Osaka, Japan. After graduation, I continued my studies in the arts, as art has always been a central part of my life.
I started working at a product design company while I was still a student. Even though I was a full-time student, I managed to finish most of my classes in three years. During my fourth year, I was working at the company while still completing my studies. This marked the beginning of my long journey in design.
I later moved to the United States to challenge myself. I can’t even count how many times I’ve cried due to culture shock. Our cultures are so different, but I did my best to adapt to the American way because my dream was always to be here in the United States.
I’ve been working in design for many years, starting in college, and I continue to do so. I love seeing my designs in stores, and I often find myself emotional when I see my products. I am passionate about infusing soul into everything I create. When I see people purchasing my designs, it brings me to tears. I pour my heart and effort into my work, and this is where my true happiness lies. I will continue to make people smile with my creativity.
